How long is the warranty?
Yes, We can repair or rebuild most Automotive, Truck, Marine, and Industrial alternator or starter.
We also repair units for, Lawnmowers, Fork lifts, Motorcycles & ATV’s, Boats & Personal Watercraft’s, Snowmobiles, Snow Plow motors, Farm Equipment, and Winch and liftgate motors.
How long does it take to have my part rebuilt?
Generally, once your part arrives at our factory it is rebuilt within 2 business days, after which It is sent back to you via standard UPS ground (shipping can be expedited upon your request). If you are in a major hurry, please contact us and we will do our best to help you out.
So, for example, if we receive your part on a Tuesday, it will be rebuilt either on Tuesday or Wednesday, and then it will be sent out to you on Wednesday or Thursday.
Of course, this is just an estimate. If your part requires special attention, it could take a bit longer. We find that most of our customers would much rather us do the job right than to rush something out the door.
When we call you to confirm pricing, you will also be given an estimated delivery date.
Most repairs for automotive alternators or starters range from $20.00 to $65.00. An industrial unit usually may run $50.00 to $100.00. Depending on what parts and how much the parts cost.
Generally rebuilding an automotive starter or alternator may run between $35.00 and $95.00. An industrial unit may run between $100.00 and $175.00. A marine unit may run between $65.00 and $150.00.

What type of parts do you rebuild?
We rebuild: Starters, Alternators, Generators, Electric Motors, Power Steering Pumps, Power Steering Gear Boxes, Rack & Pinion units, Control Valves, Power Cylinders, Hydraulic Pumps, Hydraulic Cylinders, Manual Steering Gear Boxes, Front Wheel Drive Axles, Power Boosters, Hydroboosts, Smog Pumps, and Lift Gate Motors.
Generally, we can also rebuild parts that are similar to the above parts. If you are wondering if we can rebuilding something for you, please contact us. We would love to help you solve your problem!
Yes, we can check almost all alternators on the vehicle. Due to the nature of the nature of starter locations we can only test these on the bench.
Do you remove and install them on the vehicle?
No, we do not. We can recommend some repair shops in the area that do business with us. They would be more than happy to remove and install for a fee.
The warranty on all Rayelco rebuilt or repaired units is 1 year.
